Girl's LAX Equipment

Invest in the correct equipment for your player: A girl's lacrosse stick is much different than a boy's stick. Please be sure you have the correct one. A boy's lacrosse stick has a pocket to catch the ball and carry it. In comparison, a girl's stick is a tight net designed to move, pass or hit the ball instead of carrying it over a distance.

There are two styles of girl's lacrosse stick, goalie and field. The league will provide all goalies with goalie sticks but all players, including goalies, are required to have their own field stick.

You do not need to invest in a new or expensive stick, just be sure to get the right type and length. A stick should measure at least the length of a players arm, not including the head. At the beginning of Spring Season, we will take a look at sticks and make recommendations for any alternations neccesary such as shortening, butt replacement, restringing.

Protective eyewear is also required. Some older models are no longer allowed so please be aware of the info below when purchasing used equipment. Players may also want to have all black fitted garment to wear under their uniform for cold season play along with fitted athletic gloves. Some girls will bring warm gear to layer over their uniform for on the sidelines. We play sun or snow!

Please reach out to   if purchasing a stick or goggles is a financial burden, she will assist you.

Below are US LAX standards. Feel free to reach out to a coach should you have any questions.
